Danielle’s Rest & Restore practice includes
Nature — stepping outside, breathing deeply and allowing herself to slow down.
Meditation — creating quiet space to come back to herself.
Breath-work — using conscious breath to release, reconnect and reset.
Movement — gentle movement to reconnect with her body.
Connection — making time for the people and simple moments that fill her back up.
Danielle
Danielle Brierley is an experienced and qualified massage, palliative and oncology massage therapist, trauma-informed wellbeing practitioner and meditation facilitator with more than 14 years of experience. At the heart of Danielle's work is a simple philosophy:
Safety • Connection • Satisfaction
She believes that massage is about much more than muscles. Our bodies can carry the effects of stress, grief, illness, trauma and the demands of everyday life, and sometimes what we need most is a safe space where we can stop, soften and simply receive.
Danielle's approach is intuitive, individualised and trauma-informed. Rather than following a set massage routine, she meets each person where they are on the day, adapting her touch, pressure and pace to what their body needs.
Her work within palliative and oncology care has deeply influenced the therapist she is today. Supporting people during vulnerable stages of life has strengthened her belief in the power of compassionate touch, presence and human connection — and in knowing when words aren't needed at all.
Her interest in the nervous system led Danielle to further studies in Havening Techniques®, NLP, conversational hypnosis, positive neuroplasticity, belief-change work, wellbeing coaching, meditation and other mind-body approaches.
She brings elements of this understanding into her treatments through grounding, breath, stillness and nervous-system awareness, creating an experience that supports both the body and the person within it.
Danielle particularly loves retreat work because it gives people permission to step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves.
Her intention is simple: that each person leaves her treatment feeling a little lighter, calmer, more connected and more at home within themselves.
