What is BackMitra Yoga?
This style of Yoga is a restorative practice that integrates slow Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga, which uniquely utalised the BackMitra prop. This foam tool is designed to gently relieve spinal tension, improve spinal alignment and postural awareness, and support the nervous system.
Benefits of BackMitra Yoga include:
Nervous system regulation: Encourages parasympathetic (rest and digest) activation
Improved breathing: Expands the diaphragm and rib cage, allowing deeper breaths
Musculoskeletal support: Can help to relieve lower back pain, neck and shoulder discomfort
